We are working to create innovative solutions for the management, development, and analysis of data for financial institutions. Our work is aimed at enabling insights and actions based on the data available to our clients, leveraging the expanding amount of data necessary to stay up to date on regulatory compliance within the financial sector.
The role:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our tech development team. The role will primarily be focused on developing and maintaining data models for financial institutions, utilizing both relational and NoSQL technologies. In addition to data modelling, the role will involve maintaining and testing data pipelines to ensure the quality and maintainability of the data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a background in data engineering, preferably with experience in both relational and NoSQL databases, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Tasks:
As a part of the team working on internal tech development, you will be working on tasks such as, but not limited to:
- Data engineering, including development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Develop and maintain data models for financial institutions using both relational and NoSQL technology.
- Maintain and test data pipelines to ensure the quality and maintainability of the data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to develop and extend existing data models, enabling new use cases, regulations, and opportunities for analysis.
- Work in an agile and adaptable environment within a supportive team.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in data engineering, with a focus on developing and maintaining data models.
- Preferably 1-2 years relevant work experience
- Proficiency in both relational and NoSQL databases, such as SQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar.
- Live in, or adjacent to, the greater Stockholm metropolitan area. Candidates should be EU citizens or possess appropriate residency or work permits.
- Great interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
